Lakeisha Jones

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lakeisha Jones of Lynchburg, VA. She passed away on Monday, September 16th. She was 45.

Lakeisha, familiarly known as Keisha, is survived by her three children, Malik Loving, Octavious Jones and his wife Des’Tanee, and Anthony Jones, as well as Bryan Cashwell; her three granddaughters, Aubriella Jones, Serenity Loving, and Leighlani Jones, the father of her children, Lincoln Nathaniel Allen and her siblings, Eunice (Lamar) Jones, William (Jay) Jones, Lucy Jones, and Tyrone Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jones and Gwendolyn Brown, her Aunt, Mae Lewis.

Keisha was a loving mother and sister and doted on her three granddaughters. A devoted church member of Saint James Baptist Church, she was caring and attentive and always made sure to check in on others, ready to lend an ear or just be there in spirit.

She was independent, bold, and could often be found watching her stories, usually The Young and The Restless or Lifetime. Rest easy, Keisha.

To celebrate Keisha’s life, there will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Saint James Baptist Church in Roseland, VA at 2 p.m.
