Maria Vicki Robinson-Wilson

Maria Vicki Robinson-Wilson, born on February 11, 1960, in Nelson County, Virginia, passed away at the age of 64 on November 10, 2024, in Hampton, Virginia. She was a beloved figure in her community, known for her kindness, independence, and dedication to her family and career.

Maria graduated from Nelson County High School and went on to serve honorably in the U.S. Army for nine years. Following her military service, she dedicated 25 years to working at the VA hospital, serving the federal government with commitment and care.

She is survived by her son, Kyle Robinson; daughter-in-law, Ashley Robinson; and grandchildren, Kyden and Ryan Robinson. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Clearance Robinson.

Maria had a vibrant personality, always willing to lend a helping hand and cherished her family deeply.

Her hobbies included playing the piano, watching her favorite movies, shopping, and expressing her creativity through interior design, particularly in designing her living room.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024 at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home by Rev. Brenda Brown. Burial with military honors by American Legion Post 16 to follow in New Mount Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Maria’s memory can be made to GoodWill, supporting causes she cared about. Maria’s legacy of kindness, service, and creativity will be remembered by all who knew her.
